TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION AVAILABLE – UC SAN DIEGO DERMATOLOGY
The Department of Dermatology at the University of California San Diego is seeking accomplished Physician Scientists at any rank to advance knowledge in Dermatology through basic research in Cutaneous Biology.

Our distinguished faculty are known for their contributions in clinical care, basic research and translational science. As one of the youngest dermatology programs in the US, our program has built a successful, collegial and collaborative community and seeks similar faculty to join the expanding group.
The preferred candidate will join a dynamic and productive group of independent investigators with research programs that include Immunology, Microbiology, Developmental Biology, or Cancer Biology in the skin.
The applicant will be expected to lead a successful independent research program, participate in university service, and may choose to have clinical duties based on the training and clinical experience of the candidate.
Applicants must have a MD, PhD or combined MD/PhD. Candidates with an MD must be Board Certified/Eligible dermatologist. All candidates should have active grant support and demonstrated ability to conduct a state-of- the-art research program.
