Registrations will be accepted by the SID until April 13, 2012, after which you must register on-site in Raleigh. On-site registration will take place at the SID registration counter in the Raleigh Convention Center beginning Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
The SID invites all residents, post-doc fellows, and students to attend the Meeting and submit abstracts for review. Residents and post-doc fellows receive a discounted registration rate of $300 before March 16, 2012 and $350 after March 16, 2012, and students receive a discounted rate of $150. New for 2012, residents, post-docs and students receive a subsidized ticket rate of $50 for the Social Event. To receive these rates, residents, post-doc fellows and students must mail or fax to the SID office a letter from their department chair or program director verifying their status. Letters must be signed and on official university/institution letterhead. Registrations will not be processed until all documentation is received. If registering on-site, please bring the required documentation with you or you will be charged regular on-site registration rates.
All cancellations and changes to Annual Meeting registration must be made in writing to the SID office, by March 16, 2012. Cancellations made after March 16, 2012 will not receive a refund. No exceptions can be made. Refunds are issued only after the Meeting, less a $100 administrative fee.
