2011 Associate and Ancillary Meetings

American Dermatoepidemiology Network (ADEN)

The American Dermatoepidemiology Network (ADEN) is the principal organization devoted to dermatoepidemiology in North and South America.  There are no entrance requirements and no dues; everyone is encouraged to attend ADEN meetings.  ADEN will meet on Saturday, May 7, with abstract presentations from 8am to 10:30am, with a business and planning meeting from 10:30 to noon.   

 

Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (CTCL)

The goal of the Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (CTCL) Symposium is to promote awareness, advance patient care and facilitate research in CTCL by providing an annual venue to highlight new physicians and scientists to the field and new advances in the treatment of CTCL. It is cosponsored by the International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas (www.cutaneouslymphoma.org ) and the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation (www.clfoundation.org ). Each year the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation provides a Young Investigator Travel Award to support travel of a young investigator attending the CTCL Symposium and presenting CTCL related research. The CTCL will meet on Thursday, May 5th from 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

 

Research in Cutaneous Surgery (RCS)

This session includes a wide range of clinical and basic science research that is relevant to dermatologic surgery, including nonmelanoma and melanoma treatment, laser surgery, and cosmetic procedures.  Presenters are asked to focus on the potential clinical implications of their findings. The RCS will meet on Thursday, May 5th from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

 

Pediatric Dermatology Society

For all interested in PEDIATRIC DERMATOLOGY: Join us on Thursday, May 5 at 7:00 a.m. for special oral presentations and a roadmap of presentations and posters relevant to Pediatric Dermatology at the SID. North American Hair Research Society (NAHRS)

The North American Hair Research Society members are clinical or basic science researchers that who are committed to unraveling the causes and developing effective treatments for disorders of hair growth.  The NAHRS will meet on Friday, May 6th from 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

 

Pachyonychia Congenita (PC) Project

A not-for profit organization whose mission is to find a cure for Pachyonchia Congenita.  The PC Project holds its Annual Meeting (International PC Consortium) during the SID Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 3rd from 9:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 4th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
