Stefan Weiss, MD Biography
 

Stefan C. Weiss, MD MHSc is Medical Director of the Weiss Skin Institute, a clinical research center and private dermatology practice in Boca Raton, Florida.

Dr. Weiss, a graduate of Yale University and the Duke University School of Medicine, completed his residency in dermatology at Stanford University. Dr. Weiss was a fellow in Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) during which time he also earned his Masters Degree in Clinical Research.

Following residency, Dr. Weiss was named Senior Medical Director at Connetics Corporation, a biotechnology company in Palo Alto, Calif. In this role, Dr. Weiss provided medical leadership to the drug development teams that successfully navigated three New Drug Applications to approval by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Dr. Weiss is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He co-directs the Pharmacology of Skin Course for the Society of Investigative Dermatology (SID).  He is also a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the Skin Cancer Foundation.
