Kenneth Gordon, MD Biography
Kenneth B Gordon, MD is currently the Head of the Division of
Dermatology at Evanston
Northwestern Healthcare in Illinois and is an Associate Professor of
Dermatology at the
Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Gordon
received his medical degree from Columbia University in New York and his
bachelor’s degree in chemistry and economics from Amherst College in
Massachusetts. He completed an internship and residency in
Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard University in Boston
and his clinical residency in Dermatology at Northwestern University in
Chicago. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University,
jointly sponsored by the Departments of Dermatology and
Microbiology/Immunology. He is board certified in dermatology.
Dr.
Gordon has received several awards and honors, including the Albert
Klingman Fellowship, awarded by the Society for Investigative
Dermatology, and the Dermatology Foundation Clinical Career Development
Award. He was recently named as one of the “Best Doctors in America” and
is in “Who’s Who in American Healthcare and Medicine”. Dr. Gordon
is on the Editorial Board of the
Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology
and is
an ad hoc reviewer for the
Archives of Dermatology,
British Journal of Dermatology,
The Journal of Investigative Dermatology,
and
JAMA.
His many publications, book chapters, and presentations deal with the
treatment of such skin diseases as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and
nonmelanoma skin cancer.
